About Us

Central Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch is the central and largest yeshiva of the worldwide Chabad-Lubavitch movement. It was founded in the town of Lubavitch in 1897 by the fifth Lubavitcher Rebbe - the Rebbe Rashab, and was re-established in Brooklyn by the sixth Lubavitcher Rebbe - the Frierdiker Rebbe, immediately upon his arrival in America in 1940. Located at Chabad-Lubavitch World Headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn, NY, the yeshiva is currently home to over 800 students.

At Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim, we are dedicated to fostering an environment that is rooted in Torah and encourages a deep connection to Hashem. Our philosophy is to provide our students with a rigorous curriculum and a strong Torah education, so that they can develop a strong connection to their heritage and their faith. We strive to create an atmosphere of mutual respect and support, encouraging our students to learn and grow in their knowledge of Torah, and to become exemplary citizens of the Jewish community. We believe that learning and living a life of Torah is the path to true happiness and fulfillment.

Global Impact

The impact of our tens of thousands of alumni is felt across the globe, our alumni serve as the vast majority of the over 5,000 Shluchim who lead more than 3,500 institutions in all 50 states and over 100 countries and territories worldwide. Where they are spreading the values of Torah and Chassidus instilled in them from their time in Tomchei Tmimim to all corners of the globe.
